Appointments
Appointments must be scheduled by calling or texting us at (571) 581-0109. To protect patient privacy, we do not schedule appointments through email or social media. Patients must schedule their own appointments unless a parent or legal guardian is scheduling for a minor. Appointments are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and availability cannot be held indefinitely. Saturdays are our busiest days and tend to fill quickly. We strongly recommend contacting us to confirm that our availability works for you before purchasing a service or package.
Cancellations
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the exact appointment time. Cancellations made within 24 hours will result in a $50 fee, which must be paid before rescheduling. The fee may be waived with proof of a positive COVID-19 or flu test, or a doctor’s note. You may cancel by calling or texting us at (571) 581-0109, emailing us, or through your patient portal. We do not receive replies sent to automated text reminders. Automated text and email reminders begin after 3:00 PM two days before your appointment, with an additional text reminder approximately four hours beforehand. Reminders are a courtesy and are not guaranteed. Unsubscribed, blocked, filtered, or undelivered reminders do not waive the cancellation fee. Please record your appointment and contact us or check your portal if you need to confirm the date or time.
Packages and Purchases
All treatment packages are non-refundable once any session has been used, regardless of satisfaction, relocation, or personal circumstances. Completely unused packages may be considered for a refund at the clinic’s sole discretion. If approved, a 15% administrative and transaction-processing fee will be deducted from the purchase amount. Packages purchased during promotions or sales are non-refundable and non-transferable, even if unused. Once any portion of a package has been used, it cannot be transferred, shared, reassigned, credited, or converted to another service or individual. Prices are subject to change without notice, and discounts, promotions, or special pricing cannot be applied retroactively to previous purchases.

Treatment Scheduling
For first-time patients, laser hair removal treatments are typically performed 4–8 weeks apart. Your specialist will recommend the appropriate amount of time between sessions after your treatment. We do not book future appointments without a recommendation from your specialist.
Arriving for Your Appointment
Please arrive with clean skin. We recommend showering before your appointment and avoiding makeup, creams, deodorant, lotions, oils, and other products on the treatment area.
Health and Medication Changes
Notify us immediately of any changes in your health or medications. Certain medications and health conditions may prevent us from safely performing your treatment.
Brazilian Treatments During Your Period
Brazilian treatments may be performed during your period if you are wearing a tampon, cup, or disc and can ensure there is no blood on the skin’s surface. You may be more sensitive during this time. Please plan accordingly if you prefer to reschedule so you can avoid the late cancellation fee.
Pain Medication
If you plan to take pain medication before treatment, avoid Advil, ibuprofen, and medications from the same group, as they may increase skin sensitivity and irritation. Tylenol, acetaminophen, or paracetamol may be used when appropriate for you.
Topical Numbing and Cooling
If you choose to use topical numbing cream, apply it 30–45 minutes before your appointment and completely remove it before treatment. We do not provide numbing cream for laser hair removal. Our lasers are equipped with a Dynamic Cooling Device, or DCD, which delivers a controlled burst of cryogen to cool and protect the skin immediately before each laser pulse, helping make the treatment more comfortable.

Before Your Treatment
- Shave the entire treatment area 24–48 hours before every appointment. All hair must be shaved, regardless of its length or thickness. We cannot perform the treatment if the area has not been properly shaved.
- Do not pluck, wax, thread, or use hair-removal creams before your treatment.
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning products for at least 2–3 weeks before treatment. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF of at least 30 daily for UVA and UVB protection.
- Stop tretinoin-type products and active skincare ingredients at least 2–3 days before treatment. These include Renova, tretinoin, Retin-A, Retin-A Micro, Tri-Luma, Solagé, AHA/BHA exfoliants, and other acids.
- Wait at least two months after your final dose of Accutane before receiving any laser treatment, including laser hair removal.
- Many medications can increase sensitivity to sunlight and laser treatment. Please disclose all medications you are currently taking.
- If you have a history of cold sores, begin preventative treatment with Valtrex or a similar prescribed medication no later than the day before treatment.
- Wait at least 2–3 weeks after Botox and 3–4 weeks after dermal fillers before receiving treatment in the same area.
After Your Treatment
- Temporary redness and swelling are expected. Depending on your skin sensitivity, these reactions may resolve within a few hours or last for up to 2–3 days.
- Some patients experience itching, particularly on the face or lower extremities. Do not scratch the area with your nails, as this can lead to infection, pigment changes, or scarring.
- If itching occurs, cleanse the area and apply over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream twice daily for 5–7 days. An antihistamine, such as Zyrtec or Benadryl, may also help when appropriate for you.
- Patients who experienced itching after a previous session may consider taking their preferred antihistamine 2–3 days before a subsequent treatment.
- Do not sunbathe, use tanning beds, or apply tanning products for at least one week after treatment. When outdoors, apply a broad-spectrum SPF of 30–50 to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation.
- Avoid hot tubs, saunas, and swimming pools for 24–48 hours after treatment.
- You may shower, but avoid very hot water and fragranced shower products. Use a gentle antibacterial soap or cleanser.
- Avoid scrubs, exfoliation, and other irritating products for several days after treatment.
